Tree of Life

In 2015, the Tree of Life crowdfunding campaign was launched to help grow and protect the forest in Togo, enable young people in the Mô Plain to pursue education, and at the same time fund research into future-defining issues.
Through this, our supporters have made it possible to develop an integral transition program and to test several of its components in pilot projects.
The Tree of Life crowdfunding campaign is still active.

Anyone can contribute by donating Trees of Life on a one-time, weekly, monthly, or annual basis. Each Tree of Life costs €5.
Some companies donate a number of Trees of Life, while parents and grandparents also donate Trees of Life monthly or annually for their children and grandchildren.

The trees are planted to restore the forest in the Mô Plain in Togo, which had completely disappeared due to deforestation. Together with former refugees and displaced people, the trees are cultivated, transplanted, planted, and protected on land that was made available on loan in 2001 to Stichting GoTogo by the Diocese of Sokodé.
The trees do not become the property of donors, and it is not the intention to stimulate tourism. We aim to return the forest to nature.

Donors contribute to support a future-proof world for everyone.
New Tree of Life donors can get in touch via info@hetkanwel.love. We do not accept donations from publicly listed companies or in exchange for compensation.
It is also possible to plant Trees of Life through a recurring donation or legacy contribution, thereby supporting the integral future-proof transition. For this as well, please contact us via the email address mentioned above.
